General Law and Order in Ghaziabad

Of late things have started happening, so let us all hope improvements are round the corner. I have a few suggestions:-

1 All entry points from Delhi to UP should be managed a little better to avoid one feeling that he/she is entering in jungle.

2 All country and foreign liquor shops to be told to sell liquor and not encourage consumption at the shop itself. If it is not possible then the State should ensure that proper arrangements for nice eateries come up and license fee can be charged which will enhance State earnings as well.

3 Better regulation of traffic and proper checking of automobiles for road worthiness and authorisation to drive the same to be subjected to checks.

4 Police should be approachable and more friendly. Today, unfortunately, it carries a image that no sane person would ever like to visit a police station leave aside contacting a police man for any help.

5 Better physical fitness of all police men. People in force with sluggish and tardy looks are a burden and need to be disciplined.

6 Regular meeting between the residents, in particular Senior Citizens and the SHOs and SIs.

8 Formal address to media about the positive achievements by the PRO of the SSP’s Office. Often, it has been noticed that SHOs and SIs prefer to keep a few journalists in their pocket and use them.

9 Formation of advisory Councils in each police post with representation of public and the force.

10 Keeping an eye on known criminals of the area.

11 Information centres with Online Communication facilities to be established.

12 General improvement in personal style and approach is needed.

Dear,
The suggestion are in good taste but where is competant officials to implement them? Have they got the sufficient time to read this suggestions? In Ghaziabad officials are posted to make the honeymoon in this city, even they got their marching orders without opening their SUITCASE and they got the transffered orders.
In my opnion under the circumstances we can pray with the God only rescue us from the worsening traffic situation in this Socalled Hot city.
However your suggestions are most valuble.
thanks

Dear Mr. Kumar,

To be frank with you, I agree with you but I saw some efforts are being made by the current incumbent SSP Ghaziabad Mr. Akhil Kumar. Therefore, I have been able to put these views on the Instablogs, otherwise who dares to take on these mighty police administration.

Besides, when we have corrupt Govt. in UP and they see Police as their earning tool, no one should expect wonders.

But as a right thinking person ,I have put my view and let us see if there is some reaction in the Police or District Administration.

Unfortunately, many of the Sr. officers of UP either are not netsavy or they don’t want to see their mail by themselves, what do you expect from such Govt.?

To my utter horror, I find that the address/mail ID given on the website of Up’s top most officer on IT i.e. Chief Informatics Officer itself is not working. What one can expect of such a administration?

There is no website, at least I know of, where the UPians can directly communicate with Chief Minister of the State. It’s pity that the largest State is being run by such useless guys, who have used their position for their personal benefits, be it this ”M” or the other”M”. States like Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala etc. have moved up the ladder of development. The States like UP and Bihar which have their political roots in caste based ideology have fallen from grace. It would really be much long when ills of UP’ politics can be corrected.

But I have still faith, the day is not far off when people will rise and destroy the institution of corruption which is being built by the corrupt political minds.

Regards,

SPSingh

Dear Mr. Garg,

Thanks for your compliments.

I thought that the views will be seen by people in power but I find no acknowledgement from them.

I dont think that any action would be taken on such points.

But I feel that I have aired my views and shall go on chasing these ones.

Regards
